In a time prior to firearms, Chi Kung was one, if not, the most important martial art in China, used to strengthen the body and prepare it for hand-to-hand combat. Continuing with this philosophy in the teaching of Siu Lam Wing Chun, however, it maintains the characteristics of health development, the construction of a healthy mind and spiritual growth. In summary, the work of SIU LAM CHI KUNG is limited to breathing exercises , which permanently compress the oxygen-concentrated air in the tissues surrounding the organs, making them practically impervious to injuries caused by blows or accidents, internal or external, thus taking root in the Earth’s energy and directing the Earth’s gravitational energy to the bone structure.
